The Omakase Pass

Private sushi chefs at home · Nashville

The counter comes to your table.

A sushi chef arrives at your home and works in front of you, serving the best of the day's catch, piece by piece. The artistry of the sushi counter, brought home and shaped to the occasion for two or for twenty-five.

Ichi-go ichi-e · One time, one meeting

In Japan, omakase is built on a simple covenant: the guest entrusts the meal to the chef, and the chef answers with the best of that day: that fish, that season, that moment. The tradition carries a name for it: ichi-go ichi-e. One time, one meeting. A meal that will never happen the same way twice.

The Omakase Pass is your way in. We bring that moment to your table, matching one of a small, vetted collective of Nashville's most talented independent sushi chefs to your occasion. No restaurant reservation six weeks out. No traveling celebrity chef's calendar. Just a craftsman, your kitchen, and an evening made once… for you.

The experiences

The party, and the private table.

Our signature night is The Sushi Party: a chef and a live station in the middle of the room. On a handful of evenings, the counter turns private. Both begin the same way, with a vetted chef in your home.

By request

The private omakase table.

A handful of evenings each season, the counter turns fully private: one chef, your table, a tasting composed for that night alone. We take these by request and match the chef to the moment. It is the rarest thing we do.

A vetted collective. Not a marketplace.

Every chef on The Omakase Pass is independently vetted for skill, for sourcing, and for the kind of hospitality that can't be faked. We'd rather represent five exceptional chefs than fifty adequate ones.

Questions, answered.

What's included in the price?

Everything but the table. Your chef brings the fish, the ingredients, and their own tools, and handles preparation, service, and cleanup. You provide the kitchen and the guests. Final quotes depend on your menu and party size.

How far in advance should I book?

As much notice as you can give us helps. Each event is matched to an individual chef's calendar, and weekends fill quickly, so earlier means more options. Once we have your date, we'll confirm a chef who fits.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Plans change, and we'll always try to work with you. The exact deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed in writing when you book.
